Barangay Love Stories - Jelay April 14, 2019

Dear Papa Van,

Ako si Jelay, tubong Santiago, Isabela, my mother’s hometown.

Isa ako sa mga masugid na tagapakinig ng programa niyo. Hindi kompleto ang weekend ko Papa Van kung hindi nakikinig sa inyo. Dahil dito ay nainspire akong magsulat sa kwento ng buhay pag-ibig ko. Highschool pa lamang ako nuong simulan ko ang pagsusulat ng kwento ko.

Ako ung tipo ng tao na school at bahay lang. Mas gusto ko kasing magstay na lang sa bahay. Magkukulong sa kuarto,  haharap sa computer at itutuloy ang kwento ko hanggang sa magsawa ako. Ganun lagi ang routine ko.

Mula ng simula ko na ang pagsusulat Papa Van, naeexcite na ako sa mga bagay  na pwedeng mangyari sa buhay ko. Hindi ko pa pala nasasabi sa inyo ang tungkol sa estado ng buhay namin. Well, hindi kami mayaman pero hindi din naman mahirap. Sakto lang, pero kahit ganun ay never pinaramdan sa akin ng magulang ko ang kahirapan. Lahat ng gusto ko or should I say, lahat ng gusto namin ng bunso kong kapatid na si Aldrich ay naibibigay nila. 
Nagtratrabaho si Mama sa isang printing press samantalang si Papa naman ay nagmamanage ng business namin. Parehong mabait ang mga magulang ko lalo na si Papa. Mas close kasi kami ni Papa kaysa kay Mama. Si papa kasi ang madalas kong kasa-kasama. Minsan kung wala akong pasok ay tinutulungan ko si Papa sa shop na nakatayo lang sa harap ng bahay…
